Full Novel Prose
The dust settles slowly, drifting down like ash after a fire. The valley is silent — no laughter, no shouting, no threats, no armies. Just the wind moving through the rocks and the faint hum of Sanctuary Six’s outer wall.
The encampment is gone.
Koch’s tents, Ellison’s perimeter, the holo rigs — all erased. The armies — erased. The gangs — gone. Juan — gone.
Maya stands at the edge of the valley, Ruby hovering beside her in the half‑track, its camo nets fluttering in the settling dust.
