PART I — THE FALL

CHAPTER 1 — The Frontline Collapses

Juan films the destruction of the Union army. A surrendering soldier is executed. Ruby warns him a Union spy is approaching. Elias arrives — young, broken, finger tapping. He tells Juan: Thiel Prison needs you. He has holos proving Koch’s pedophilia and sadism.

CHAPTER 2 — The Road Out

Juan packs his gear, boards Ruby. Elias reveals he grew up watching Juan. Ruby demonstrates her speed. Juan watches seconds of the holo — vomits. Elias comforts him, showing his own trauma. Juan agrees to go to Thiel.

CHAPTER 3 — The Burned World

Ruby drives through the ruined forest. Refugees flood the road, starving. Juan orders Ruby to warn them off. The closer they get to Thiel, the more desperate the crowds. Elias grows tense.

PART II — THE PRISON

CHAPTER 4 — Arrival at Thiel Prison

Elias leaps out and disappears. Panthers and Mongrels lift Ruby onto their shoulders. Juan is stunned by the order and cleanliness. Sons of Odin build fortifications separately. The prison is preparing for war.

CHAPTER 5 — Maya Returns

Maya appears — exhausted, sharp. She warns Juan: Koch is already attacking him. Koch is running the “Celeb 40’s Phenom.” Maya explains the stakes: Chicago is the last public sanctuary. Sanctuary 6 is nearly sealed. Juan’s broadcast will determine who gets inside.

CHAPTER 6 — The Prison Order

Maya leads Juan through the clean prison. Juan reflects on his past idealism and disillusionment. The gangs cooperate like a functioning society. Juan realizes the prison is more organized than the Union army.

CHAPTER 7 — The Gym Gathering

Maya gathers gangs and refugees. Juan slips into his public persona. Maya introduces him: He has holos. Koch will counter them. They must watch both broadcasts.

PART III — THE MEDIA WAR

CHAPTER 8 — Koch’s Propaganda Assault

Kosmic Kosmo’s show plays. CLAP SIGN. POINTS AWARDED. Plumage’s fake compassion. Kosmic’s mocking songs. “BAD MAYO” cannibalism denial. Koch’s Celebs portray Juan as unstable and hostage to criminals. The gym watches in silence.

CHAPTER 9 — Juan’s Counter‑Broadcast

Juan shows Koch’s crimes (faces hidden). Shows prison order, food lines, discipline. Calmly dismantles Koch’s lies. Calls armed survivors to Thiel. Announces march to Chicago. Frames gangs as protectors. “This isn’t madness. This is policy.”

PART IV — THE MARCH

CHAPTER 10 — Preparing for Chicago

Maya explains Sanctuary 6’s political structure. A council vote will determine Koch’s access. Juan must sway public opinion. Gangs prepare for battle. Refugees gather. Juan realizes he is the center of a national crisis.

CHAPTER 11 — The Battle at Thiel

Ellison’s army attacks. Gangs defend the prison. Juan films everything. Elias breaks down. Maya leads strategic defense. The march begins.

CHAPTER 12 — The March North

Thousands join. Juan becomes the voice of the march. Koch escalates propaganda. Ellison pursues. The march becomes mythic.

PART V — SANCTUARY SIX

CHAPTER 13 — Arrival at Sanctuary Six

The single small entrance. Maya’s tour. Juan falls in love with the place. Imagines a future with Maya and children. Sees the nursery — DeLillo’s cathedral hush. Blake line. Yeats line. Juan dreams of a life he’ll never have.

CHAPTER 14 — The Holo Rumbling

Rumors spread through personal holos. Crowd begins to rumble. Juan and Maya don’t know why. Someone overrides the civic channel. Every holo switches to Koch’s station. Koch demands Juan, the gangs, the freed slaves. The crowd turns. Celebs defect. Gangs form around Juan.

CHAPTER 15 — The Council Vote

Sanctuary 6 leadership debates surrendering Juan. Maya fights for him. Ruby uncovers sabotage. The vote goes badly. Sanctuary 6 decides to turn Juan and the gangs over.

PART VI — THE END OF THE WORLD

CHAPTER 16 — The Negotiation Encampment

Juan insists on negotiating with Koch and Ellison. The gangs accompany him — united. Koch threatens Juan. Ellison threatens the gangs. Celebs mock them. Juan and the gangs laugh — they know what’s coming. Maya watches from Sanctuary Six on holo.

CHAPTER 17 — The Trap

Juan and the gangs have planted a nuke. If Sanctuary 6 is going to betray them, they will still win. They will kill the tyrants even if history calls them criminals. Juan gives Maya the signal — a look only she understands. She detonates the nuke. Juan dies. The gangs die. Koch dies. Ellison dies. The Celebs die. The propaganda machine dies. The world sees it live.

PART VII — THE FUTURE

CHAPTER 18 — Juana

Sanctuary Six seals itself. Maya survives. She gives birth to Juana. Ruby transfers into a nanny unit. Ruby raises Juana — caretaker, teacher, archivist. Maya begins a small arts program — ordinary people doing art instead of Celebs. Outside, statues of Koch, Ellison, Plumage, Kosmic Kosmo are erected as “heroes.” Maya and Ruby walk past the statues with Juana. Ruby mutters something snarky. Maya tells Juana: “One day, you’ll write the truth.” Juana grows up to write the book that corrects the lies.

Final image: Maya, Ruby, and Juana looking at the statues of the villains who are, for now, the heroes — knowing the truth is alive, waiting, growing.
